Some of our Garden Group visited Westonbirt to see the beautiful autumn colours.
The Garden Group spent a lovely day visiting the Abbey House Manor Gardens in Malmesbury.
The Garden Group spent a lovely day at Bourton House Garden and especially liked the White Garden area.
The garden group were lucky with the weather this time on their trip to Miserden, where they saw some beautiful blooms and interesting sculptures.
Despite the bad weather, the Garden Group visited Cotswold Lavender. The lavender fields and wild flower meadows were stunningly beautiful even in the rain.
Some of our Garden Group enjoyed at beautifully sunny day at the Fresh Air Sculpture exhibition at Quenington. A lovely day out and well worth a visit.

Members of the Garden Group enjoyed visiting Pam’s beautiful garden and really appreciated the lovely tea and cake Pam had organised.
In contrast to the last Garden Group outing, the visit to Badminton to see the tulips was a gloriously sunny day. The tulips were beautiful and a firm favourite was the white frilly edged one.
On a snowy day in March, the Garden Group visited Kuranda Hellebores, which had opened for charity. They enjoyed the unusual house and beautiful gardens full of hellebores.
The Garden Group set off on a chilly February morning to see the snowdrops at Cotswold Farm. Other early bloomers and the topiary were also impressive.
The Garden Group enjoyed a lovely morning making Christmas Wreaths. Judith showed us a technique using moss covered rings with small bunches of foliage tied, wired or pinned on. Everyone was delighted with their beautiful wreath. Many thanks to Judith for showing us how to make them and to Moira for hosting and providing tea, coffee and mince pies.
A lovely day out at Burford Garden Company – delicious lunch and lots of shopping although no plants purchased!
Despite torrential rain in Tetbury, the ladies braved the weather and set off for Batsford Arboretum. Amazingly the rain there held off and they were able to enjoy the beautiful gardens.
The Garden Group enjoyed at visit to Badminton House Gardens. The weather was kind and the ladies had a fantastic time. There was, of course, the obligatory cream tea which was delicious.
At the end of August, the Garden Group spent a lovely afternoon viewing WI member Claire’s garden. Claire also treated us to some tea and lovely cakes including meringues and courgette cake. Thank you Claire for a fantastic afternoon which was very much enjoyed by all.
The ladies enjoyed a visit to the very beautiful fields of lavender and wild flower meadow at Cotswold Lavender. There was a lunch stop on the way home at Leaf and Shoots Kitchen Garden.
Despite the inclement weather, the Garden Group enjoyed looking at Cerney House gardens. The tea and cake afterwards definitely improved a somewhat soggy visit!

The Garden Group braved the rain and mud to see the spring flowers at Shaw Common, followed by a stop off at the Trioscape garden centre to warm up and have lunch!
